Meet Homer "Snake" Randle III

 Homer Randle III earned a B.A. Social Services and Aviation Management from the University of North Dakota in May of 1999. In May of 2006, he earned his Master's Degree in Transportation Planning and Management from Texas Southern University, Houston, Texas.  Homer currently flies as a contract pilot, and is the managing partner of Odyssey Consulting LLC.
Mr. Randle has worked in management for various companies , to include AT&T formerly Southwestern Bell, Houston Airport System, Cambata Aviation, World Service Company, Florida Memorial University, and Jean Ribault Sr. High School. Mr. Randle is a Board of Trustee for Bailey Military Institute and has helped several small businesses with a variety of consulting services to include strategic planning, staff development, team building, human resource issues, employee retention, and streamlining business operations. He also served 2014-2018 as the President of the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals South Florida Chapter, and he served in the Texas State Air Guard as a Squadron Commander in the 447th Air Support Group, based at Ellington Field, Houston Texas.
Mr. Randle was accepted into the 2010 Edition of the Biltmore Registry of Executives and Professionals. In 2008 he was awarded the OBAP General Flight Scholarship . He was also appointed as the National Chairman for Youth Pilot Retention for Black Pilots of America and was awarded a Profile of Prominence Award by the National Organization of Women of Achievement for his contributions to the aviation industry and to his community. In 2007, Homer was awarded a Command Leadership Resource Management Scholarship by United Airlines and The Organization of Black Airline Pilots (OBAP). From 2014-2018 he served as the first Chapter President in OBAP's  forty-three year history, as the 
President of the South Florida Chapter.

During his tenure as President the Chapter awarded $42,000.00 in scholarships to deserving high school and college students pursing flight training, degree's in STEM(Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) related disciplines, or other Technical Training in aviation. He is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Board of Trustee's-Bailey Military Institute, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Organization of Black Airline Pilots, Black Pilots of America, and The Bronze Eagles Flying Club, Houston, Texas, Grace Flight South Central, Tuskegee Airmen, and the South Florida Chapter of Black Pilots of America.  He currently serves as the Managing Partner of Odyssey Consulting LLC.

 In addition to being a contract commercial pilot with flight time ranging from single-engine, multi-engine and turbine aircraft. He is a certified PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) Advanced Open Water Diver, a nationally recognized Dive Buddy by (HSA) the Handicap Scuba Association. He enjoys shark diving, drift diving, wreck and reef diving. Among his other interest are public speaking and urban youth engagement dealing with  self motivation and STEM careers dealing specifically in the Aviation and Aerospace Industry.
He has been a keynote speaker at schools/universities to include Clear Creek ISD, Houston ISD, Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School, Fort Bend ISD, St. Pius X High School, Aldine ISD, Texas Southern University, Cheyney University, 500 Black Men Jacksonville. Fl. Chapter, and Crossover Jacksonville. His other hobbies include Formula One Racing, Golf, keeping exotic snakes which is how he got the callsign "Snake". Homer published his first book in 2022 called 'Homer Goes To Flight School'.
